Aiden looked at her with a gentle smile and a nod, “Before you go I would like to order three of your breakfast platters, to go I hope that isn’t a problem.”
Flo nodded her head, “You finally get your parents to try our food?”
Aiden looked at the older woman and shook his head no, “I’m taking them to a family that I know.” The black haired boy rested his hands at the edge of the table still looking up at the woman in an apron and a sky blue dress underneath it.

It was two weeks after Victoria’s birth; Leonard sat stroking the baby’s head reading her, her favorite fairy-tale… Cinderella. Tori looked up at him smiling listening to the soft music that played soothing music from Annette’s iPod. Leonard finished reading her the book, closing the book placing it in the small bookshelf getting another one opening it, Victoria yawned banging her hands against the mattress of her cradle laughing. Leonard stopped reading standing up looking at her, “You refuse to sleep don’t you Victoria?” He placed the book on the bed he and Annette shared; picking up Victoria wraps her up in the pink blanket with roses on it.
He looked down at her getting her bottle giving it to her, she drank the milk fighting sleep as Leonard glanced at the doorway, “Come in Ashoka.” He said then glanced back out the window.

‘The rain poured from the dark heavens, no stars sprayed across the jet black surfaces, the moon however reflected a glow from above…an uncomfortable, eerie glow. A young boy seven years of age; could see his fate as clearly as if it were an open book, and it’s pages free to browse to anyone who wanted to read it’s dark story, his unruly bedhead black hair and salty tears escaping his emerald eyes…at the sights of his parent’s bodies lying in the floor in the positions they had fallen at the time of their demise. The smell of moisture entered the small room it was the smells of mud mixed with fresh cut grass, a smell that normally the child never paid attention to…or was too busy going about his day t

Leonard had his head propped on his arms drifting in and out of sleep, “Leonard, have you seen Ryan he wasn’t in the bed this morning?”
Leonard opened his eyes looking at her, “No I just got back around dusk taking a walk around the realm, I haven’t had sleep, and what sleep I did get was interrupted by unpleasant dreams.”
“Oh, you don’t think he’s changed his mind, I did force him into my life without giving much thought of what he wanted.” Graceona looked at the table.
Leonard looked at her, “You done that poor child a favor, trust me…I can tell when he is around you he sees no wrongs nor rights, just the life you two are going to have together.”
“Do you have someone special to call your own?” Graceona looked from the table to her brother who looked at his untouched plate.

Graceona shook her head dismissing the girl. Graceona took another sip of wine placing the glass on the table, “Glad that you are feeling healthy…you look better than you did hours ago.”
Ryan stopped and looked at her swallowing his pasta, “Sorry to have eaten so much, I guess I didn’t realize how hungry I was.”
“Why must you apologize where it isn’t needed, I would rather see you eating instead of on the floors throwing up in the toilets due to being at poor nutrition. You make me happy Ryan this is the least I can do as going towards a proper thank you for making me feel complete.” Graceona had her hands on her lap.
Ryan put his fo
