Gabriel Shepherd

Gabriel Shepherd is formally Leonard Gillespie Shepherd. I was in the middle of writing a story for Leonard or the now Gabriel and the name came from listening to Blessed Redeemer Casting Crowns. (lovely song very beautiful). Well I thought that since Leo had never really been used in any story other than Silent Hill and I don't plan on making anymore stories from that game, and I didn't just want to throw an awesome character that I had worked a lot with in early 2009- late 2010 away into the back of my mind so while listening to Blessed Redeemer and thinking of reading my bible. I thought of the name it has a meaning behind it, Gabriel is my favorite angel and only angel that I know of but I'm sure there are more. And Shepherd I wanted it to mean religious reasons also, as those of you who are familiar with religion I got the Shepherd part from Jesus being the Shepherd of his sheep. That was always the meaning behind the name Shepherd even when I used him in Silent Hill, though they do have an Alex Shepherd in Homecoming. That had nothing to do with my naming Leo what I did. Leonard has had many names before I actually considered posting anything about that character. Though this was I admit not one of them.
